🌳 Family Trees

A noble house, or the family of anyone your party deals with: the head of the house and their parents and grandparents, brothers, sisters, and cousins, children and grandchildren, the partners who married in, the dead, second marriages, and a secret or two. Change anyone, add or remove people, and keep it in your notebook.

The family tables are the Gazette's own. Everyone old enough opens on the Town Square's NPC page as the same person, family name and age included, and πŸ““ Save as an NPC files them in your notebook, linked to the family.
Every faction on the Factions tab, and every town ruled by a noble on the Town tab, has a 🌳 button that rolls the family around that same leader.
The address bar holds the rolled family, so πŸ”— Copy Link shares it. Your changes live in your campaign notebook: open the same link again and they come back.

How the Family Tree Generator works

Pick how many generations, how big the family is, and their race, or start one by hand. You get the head of the house with their parents and grandparents, brothers, sisters, and cousins, children and grandchildren, the partners who married in, the dead, second marriages, and a secret or two. Click anyone to change them, add relatives, or remove them. Everyone old enough opens on the NPC page as the same person, and πŸ““ Save as an NPC files them in your notebook, linked to the family. Your changes live in your campaign notebook.

Every leader in the Faction Generator and every noble ruler in the Town Generator has a 🌳 button that rolls their family here. Family members open in the NPC Generator, and the Relationship Web shows who's tied to whom.
