🏑 Downtime Tracker

How long is the break between adventures? Pick each character's lifestyle and what they do with the time, and see what it costs in gold, silver, and copper, plus where they stay and what happens each week.

Lifestyle costs and the crafting, working, researching, and recuperating rules follow the System Reference Document 5.1 (CC-BY 4.0). Lines tagged ruling fill gaps the SRD leaves; carousing, training, and gambling are Gazette house rules with our own tables, and so are the weekly events (turn them off with Week by week).
The party stays in this browser (πŸ’Ύ back up everything), and the address bar holds it too, so πŸ”— Copy Link shares it (opening a shared link replaces the party saved here). Up to 8 characters and a year of downtime.

How the Downtime Tracker works

Set how long the break lasts, up to a year, and add each character (up to eight). Pick their lifestyle and what they spend the time on: crafting, working, researching, recuperating, carousing, training, or gambling. The tracker adds up what it costs in gold, silver, and copper, says where they stay, and rolls what happens each week. Lifestyle costs and the crafting, working, researching, and recuperating rules follow the SRD 5.1; carousing, training, and gambling are Gazette house rules with our own tables. Turn off Week by week to skip the events.

Prices match the Market Exchange, the party comes from the Party tab, and the gold comes from the Loot Splitter. Long projects fit on a Progress Clock, and the Tavern Generator is where the carousing happens.
