πŸ—ΊοΈ Worldbuilder D&D Campaign Notebook

"Every world needs a calendar. Mostly so the bards know when to be late."

Everything you keep from the other tools in one place, with your notes, the threads between them, a session log, and the party's quests.

πŸ““ Campaign Notebook

Everything you save from the other tabs, the Town Square's NPCs, and the Toolbox's quests, in one place: a link back to each roll, your notes on it, and the threads between them (the town that keeps this pantheon's gods, the history those factions came out of). Log each game as a session and track the party's quests, then open the next game with πŸ“£ Last Time On…. Export the whole world as a file to keep it safe or carry it to another browser.

The notebook lives in this browser only: nothing is sent anywhere, and clearing your browser's site data clears it too, so πŸ’Ύ Export now and then, or back up everything the tools keep.
Each entry keeps the link that rolls it again, so a saved town comes back exactly as it was. Saving links a roll to the saved rolls it uses (a town or a history on a saved pantheon's gods, a history that dates saved factions); link anything else by hand under πŸ“ Notes and links.
A session holds its number, the date you played, what happened, the NPCs met, the loot handed out, and the threads left open. A quest holds its giver, its reward, and a status (🟑 open, βœ… done, ❌ failed) you change on the card. πŸ“£ Last Time On… reads back the latest session that has a recap, with its open threads and every open quest, and prints it large enough to read aloud.
Every entry has πŸ‘οΈ notes the players may see and πŸ”’ notes for you alone. πŸ–¨οΈ Print for Players turns the entries you tick into parchment handouts: faction secrets, NPC secrets and hooks, how a site was lost and who holds it now, what a ruin means today, and who really rules a town all start out πŸ”’, and you can switch any line either way. Export and backups keep both kinds of notes.
πŸ“‚ Import adds a notebook file to this one; entries you already have keep your notes and gain the file's.

How the Campaign Notebook works

Every πŸ““ Save to Notebook button on the Worldbuilder, the NPC Generator, and the Toolbox files the roll here, with a link that brings it back exactly as it was. Add your own notes to any entry and link entries together: the town that keeps this pantheon's gods, the history those factions came out of. πŸ“– Log a Session records the date, what happened, the NPCs met, and the loot handed out, and ❗ Add a Quest tracks the jobs the party takes on. The notebook lives in this browser only, with no account: πŸ’Ύ Export it as a file to keep it safe or move it to another browser.

Entries come from every worldbuilding tool, from the Calendar to the Dungeon Generator, plus the NPC Generator and the Side Quest Generator. The Relationship Web draws the notebook as a web, and πŸ’Ύ Back up everything saves it with the rest of your tools.
