πŸ—ΊοΈ Weather & Travel Day

Pick the land and the season, then take the road one day at a time: the land and the weather, what happens on the way, how far the party gets, where they camp, and what the sky says about tomorrow.

Distances follow the travel pace rules of the System Reference Document 5.1 (CC-BY 4.0): pace, difficult terrain, forced marches, and galloping. Hours on the road after sunset use its vision and light rules (a full moon in a clear sky gives dim light). Daylight hours and the moon are the Gazette's rough reckoning. Effects marked ruling are the Gazette's suggestions, not official rules.
Journey length 0 means an open road with no destination. The address bar holds the journey's seed and the day, so πŸ”— Copy Link shares the whole trip so far, and Back steps to the day before. Changing the pace or hours keeps the weather.

How the Travel & Weather Generator works

Choose the climate, the season, the terrain, the pace, how long the party travels each day, whether they ride, and how far they're going (0 for an open road). Each day gives the weather, an event on the road, how far the party gets, where they camp, and what the sky says about tomorrow. Distances follow the SRD 5.1 travel pace rules, with difficult terrain, forced marches, and a gallop. Hours after sunset use its light rules, so a full moon in a clear sky gives dim light. β–Ά Next Day carries the trip on, and the log keeps every day so far.
